COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
“Worst Seat in the House” Promotion
Valid from 8 August 2025 to 14 August 2025

By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Office National (Pty) Ltd ("the Promoter"), located in South Africa. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook.

2. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to all residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older.
  • Employees, agents, and immediate family members of the Promoter or its affiliated companies are not eligible to enter.
  • Entry is free and no purchase is necessary to participate.

3. Competition Period

The competition will run from 08 August 2025 and will close at 23:59 on 14 August 2025. Entries received after this period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  1. Submit a photo of the worst seat (chair) in the house via email to marketing@officenational.co.za; and
  2. Like, share, and comment on the official competition post on the Office National SA Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/OfficeNationalSA).

Only entries that meet both requirements will be considered valid.

5. Winner Selection & Announcement

  • One winner will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter, based on creativity and originality.
  • The winner will be announced on 18 August 2025, exclusively on the Office National Facebook page.
  • The Promoter will contact the winner via Direct Message on Facebook and then via email for further communication.

6. Prize Details

  • The prize consists of one (1) LILY Office Chair.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged for cash or any other item.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value should the original prize become unavailable.

7. General Conditions

  • Only one entry per person will be accepted.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms or who acts in any way that brings the competition or the Promoter into disrepute.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not received due to technical issues or for incomplete, lost, or late entries.

8. Use of Entries and Personal Data

  • By entering this competition, participants grant the Promoter the right to use their submitted photo and name for promotional purposes, including but not limited to online and social media marketing, without further compensation or approval.
  • All personal data collected will be used in accordance with South African data protection laws and the Promoter’s privacy policy.

9. Disclaimer

The Promoter will never request payment or ask participants to click suspicious links to claim prizes. Beware of scams or fake accounts.

10. Disputes and Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa

Promotion Terms & Conditions

  1. Limited Stock Availability – This promotional pricing  is valid only for limited stock and while stocks last. No rainchecks or backorders will be issued once stock is depleted.
  2. Lead Times May Apply – Certain products may be subject to a lead time depending on stock availability and supplier constraints. Customers will be informed of any applicable lead times at the time of order.
  3. Pricing & Availability – Promotional pricing is valid only for the duration of the promotion and may be subject to change without prior notice. Prices are applicable only at participating stores and do not extend to stores in Namibia.
  4. Store-Specific Offers – This promotion applies to selected products and is only available at participating stores across South Africa & Lesotho,.  Availability may vary by location.
  5. No Further Discounts – Promotional pricing cannot be combined with any other discounts, special offers, or loyalty programs unless otherwise stated.
  6. Errors & Omissions – While we strive for accuracy, errors in pricing, product descriptions, and stock availability may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors or withdraw the promotion at any time.
  7. Right to Modify or Cancel – Office National reserves the right to amend, extend, or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice.
